PLASTIC FREE

Keeping Plastic Out of Landfill And Our Oceans

At Euphoric Threads our handmade clothing is made from 100% recycled plastic waste that would have otherwise been headed for landfill and our oceans.

Our latest collections have been handmade using this game-changing, 100% regenerated nylon yarn called ECONYL® , which is made from Nylon waste that would otherwise pollute the Earth such as fishing nets, old carpets, and fabric waste.

You are basically helping to CLEAN OUR OCEANS each time you purchase from Euphoric Threads.

Ahh-mazing!

OUR STORY

Euphoric Threads’ Designer Laura Griffith grew up on the Jurassic Dorset coastline in Dorset.

Staycation Top UK Beaches in Uk - Euphoric Threads - CHESIL BEACH DORSET beaches

Growing up by the sea, inspired by nature, exotic plants and tropical flowers were always part of her life, being influenced by her fathers botanising travels around the world and his lifetime of managing historic Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.

Laura wants to empower women with her vibrant and tropical prints, and create multi-functional clothing with a conscience that will contribute to the re-cycling movement.

〰️

Laura had always been aware of the litter problem surrounding local beaches in the UK however it wasn’t until March 2017, when she began work overseas in the Fiji islands that her eyes were opened to the magnitude of the plastic problem, and not just in the South Pacific.

The solution was Euphoric Threads – Lets turn sea trash into sea treasure, to use bold tropical prints as both a reminder and celebration of the diverse wildlife we share this planet with and to re-connect people with the outdoors and oceans through FUN, MULTI-FUNCTIONAL clothing you can don in the WAVES then head straight to the RAVES!

Laura chooses to hand paint and design all the prints in-house, influenced from her childhood and tropical travels around the globe which you can read about here.

Surf wear should never be boring!✌🏼

Any design you like can be custom made to size, and any print or preference can be chosen. Laura loves to create bespoke outfits to empower you in the ocean or on the dancefloor.

HOW WE WORK

Slow Fashion Is The New Fast Fashion

All of our items are limited edition and lovingly handmade in the UK. Please be patient with us if we sell out.

We’re a micro-business and aim to stay that way, consciously keeping our collections small, simple and at a much more sustainable pace that’s kinder to the planet and the people that make them. This also allows us to focus on the individuality and longevity of each design, ultimately putting the value back into clothing and keeping the EUPHORIC spirit alive for years, not just a season.

Learn more about how we’re doing things differently.

Due to the limited edition nature of our items we tend to sell out quickly however we are always busy making more stock so if an item you desire sells before you get the chance to buy please email Laura:

OUR ETHICS

Here at Euphoric Threads we make pieces that are made to last and to be cherished.

We are part of the back lash against Fast Fashion and currently choose to make our pieces made-to-order to reduce waste.

Every item of clothing is sewn by hand by our Designer, Laura, either in her rented Bristol studio, shared space in Bondi (Australia), or most recently due to the pandemic – her childhood coastal town in Dorset.
